A home appeal is very important to a lot of people. This, therefore, means that they try as much as possible to make sure that all of their equipment and furniture blend flawlessly in an attractive manner. This may be a slight problem with the ARRIS/SURFboard SBG8300. This modem-router is only attractive at the back due to the colors. However, the front looks like a terrible piece of equipment. Therefore, if attractiveness and appeal matter so much to you, you might not want to display this machine too openly.

Some machines can be extremely complicated to understand especially for new users. Even though most have manuals, they are not easy to understand, let alone follow. This is why this SBG8300 ARRIS uses colors to help the user understand the basic steps. At the back, you’ll find that it has a red port for Ethernet connections, a blue port for cable connections.

We currently live in a digital age and it is important to make sure that we are surrounded by the latest technology. This is because outdated technology will not give the desired results, as well as updated technology, would.  This ARRIS SBG8300 model number SBG8300 is equipped with DOCSIS 3.1 which makes the quality of your internet connection to be much stronger.

We all have several devices that require using the internet now and then, especially for those who love gaming online. It is therefore important to make sure that your internet connection can accommodate all your devices without buffering or lagging. When it comes to this ARRIS SBG8300 cable modem and wifi router, you can only connect a maximum of four devices. Anything above that will cause major video buffering.

Having up to date technology is one thing while being able to use it is a whole other issue on its own. You may have great technology available to you but if you do not know how to get the maximum benefit from it, then it will be useless. This SURFboard SBG8300 ARRIS is made to accommodate a maximum bandwidth of 10Gbps. It, however, is a 2 AC wave Wi-Fi meaning the 10 Gbps will be carried through a 5G band or a wired connection. A 5G band connection requires a line of sight between the router ARRIS SBG8300 and the device therefore your movement from the router will be very limited.
